Week of February 26, 2018

This week we continue our fairy tale unit.  We will read several versions of Cinderella and do some story maps and compare and contrast.

We are continuing to work on our class fairy tale.

We are continuing to write about famous Black Americans as we continue Black History Month.

This week we also celebrate Dr. Seuss and will be reading many of his books.  A notice went home about special events happening this week to celebrate Dr. Seuss.

In math we will be graphing this week and talk about flat and solid shapes.

Our words of the week are:  stop, good, end.

Reminders:
The book fair is this week.

Conference notices went home.  Please send back the form with confirmation or a better time.  Thank you for your cooperation.

IMPORTANT:
Students have earned another paw celebration.  We will do a pajama and bring a stuffed animal to school day on Friday, March 2nd.  Students may also bring their favorite Dr. Seuss book.
Please be sure that your child wears safe shoes with their pajamas.  Thank you.

Have a great week!

Some of our 100 day Projects!

We used 100 cups to build something.
