Week of November 28, 2016

During our literacy block we will continue to read fairy tales.  This week we will listen to "Pretty Salma" a South African fairy tale.  We will talk about the beginning, middle, and end, characters and setting.  We will finish our class fairy tale and begin our own fairy tales.

In math we will work with length - longer and shorter.  We will use position words - over, under, on, off etc.  We will continue counting and writing numbers in our number books.

We will talk about the winter holidays that are coming up and work on some special December holiday projects.

Our letters/words of the week are:  "u", "she", "he".  We also will review rhyming words and alliterations.

Our star student this week is:

                Daniel

Thank  you to all the parents who contributed and helped with our Thanksgiving feast.  It was fun and truly appreciated.

REMINDER
Wednesday, November 30th is an early dismissal day.
