During our literacy block we will continue to work on parts of a book, sorting letters/words and counting words in a sentence as well as noting the first/last letter in a word.
During math stations we are continuing to work on rotating. We will focus on numbers 1-10 counting, recognizing the number and writing the number.
We will continue to practice writing our names and saying the letters in our name.
We will begin celebrating our Star Student this week. The star student will take home the star student bag, a book to read with their family and a journal so they can draw and write about something they like to do with their family. Every student will have a chance to be the student of the week.
REMINDER:
This week is a short week. There is no school on Thursday and Friday.
